I never know when it is that the cicadas start. When I finally do notice them I don’t understand how I’ve been so oblivious when they’ve obviously been shrieking for days.
Thank you, Lori! I immediately feel their sawing the air, because I love silence and through him I love paying attention to nature. The cicadas are the song of the trees to flame of the sun.

Può darsi, Fulvia, anche se l’estate quando iniziano a cantare le cicale è arrivata da poco. Oppure perché interrompono la dolcezza del silenzio.
